Free School Meals

It is important that your child has a balanced diet to support her health, development and provide a firm foundation for learning. Financial assistance is provided by the government in the form of Free School Meals to school-age children, who meet certain criteria.

Please check whether your child is entitled and make sure you apply on their behalf if they are entitled.

The letter below provides more information about Free School Meals and how to apply. 

• We can check your child’s eligibility if you complete the form online by clicking HERE
• Alternatively, you can check eligibility by signing up to https://pps.lgfl.org.uk/  Please note that you will be required to submit a certificate of eligibility to the School should you wish to check eligibility yourself.

Without performing this check we are unable to confirm eligibility and therefore will not be able to provide free school meals for your daughter.

For new year 7 students, receipt of free school meals at primary school does not carry over into the new school so we need you to reapply to continue to receive this benefit.
