Copthall School Sixth Form, rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED, has an exciting and varied range of A Levels and Technical courses on offer.
In order to apply to join Copthall Sixth Form in September 2025, please complete the form below. This applies to both internal and external applicants.
Once the application form is submitted, parents/carers will receive an email confirming the details that have been submitted. You will also need to tick a Declaration on this form.

Courses and Entrance Requirements
Our Sixth Form entry requirements are that all students will need to have obtained the following qualifications:
- at least 5 GCSES at a grade 4 or a Pass equivalent in a vocational subject
- obtained a grade 4 in at least English or Maths GCSE
- Obtained the subject specific grade requirement for the subject they are applying for – see below table
We would expect that students with a grade 5 or above in English and Maths and grades 5-9 in other subjects would take 3-4 A Levels.
Students who typically have a grade 4 or above in English and Maths and an average grade of a 4 in their other subjects are more likely to take a combination of vocational qualifications and A Levels.
