Year 5 Silk Painting Workshop at Frith Manor School

On Monday 18 October we received a warm welcome from Frith Manor Y5’s who participated carefully, creatively and enthusiastically in our silk painting workshop. They had already made sketches of some of the wildlife in the pond behind their school and developed this theme in their silk paintings. It was wonderful to see how engaged and focused they were, one student said to Ms Blindt ‘This is amazing, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done’ I think the outcomes speak for themselves. Thank you to the Y5 teachers and helpers and Ms Blindt our technician for all your support with the practical resourcing of such a large workshop.
