Our Year 7s enjoyed a brilliant virtual author visit from New York Times bestselling author Mo O’Hara this Tuesday morning. Mo is the author of the very funny My big fat zombie goldfish series, and also the Agent Moose graphic novels. Mo told the students a bit about how a graphic novel is written, and the students were able to create their own heroes and villains and make a start on a graphic novel of their own. It was really interesting to find out more about how much thought goes into making a graphic novel, and important details like the direction of action.  We all thoroughly enjoyed the event!
