Holocaust Memorial Day

Year 10 GCSE History students listened to author Liz Kessler live today in an online event organised by Authors Aloud UK to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day.  Liz shared her personal experiences which went into the writing of her award winning book, ‘When the World War ours’.  The students are currently studying Nazi Germany as part of their GCSE course, and the event really helped them to understand the personal impact of the Nazi’s racist policies.
