A LEVEL MATHS IN ACTION TRIP

On 19th March, the Mathematics Department took a group of A-Level students to the ‘Maths in Action’ seminar in London. The day included a range of talks from six different speakers who guided our students through various topics, such as advanced calculus, the stock and trade market, becoming a millionaire with probability, and the history of Pythagoras and its real-life applications.

In addition to the interactive sessions, the students attended an exam masterclass, which provided valuable insights into strategies and tips for improving their grades.

The students found the seminar thoroughly engaging and were amazed to see how mathematics is linked to real-life applications.
