Year 10 Students Inspired by Creative Industries Professionals

Posted on: 13/07/2026

Year 10 students recently had the exciting opportunity to hear from a panel of creative industry professionals who shared their experiences, career journeys, and advice on breaking into the sector.

We were delighted to welcome Deborah Latouche, Alexis Williams, Katja Perry, Fi Collins, Fadhi Mohammed, and Sugar Ansari, who spoke openly about the many different pathways into creative careers. Students learned about the importance of building skills, gaining experience, networking, and remaining resilient when pursuing opportunities in highly competitive industries.

The speakers highlighted the wide range of roles available across the creative sector and encouraged students to explore their interests, be curious, and take advantage of every opportunity to develop their talents. Their personal stories demonstrated that there is no single route into the creative industries and that passion, determination, and a willingness to keep learning can open many doors.

The session concluded with a lively question-and-answer discussion, giving students the chance to ask about qualifications, work experience, and the realities of working in creative professions.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Deborah Latouche, Alexis Williams, Katja Perry, Fi Collins, Fadhi Mohammed, and Sugar Ansari for giving their time and inspiring our Year 10 students. Their valuable insights have encouraged many of our students to think more confidently about their future careers and the exciting opportunities available within the creative industries.
