Year 13 Students Inspiring Careers in Law and Medicine

Yesterday, Year 13 students interested in pursuing careers in Law and Medicine had the opportunity to hear from Winona Chen, Solicitor, and Dr Mun Lim.

The speakers shared valuable insights into their career journeys, explaining the routes to qualifying as a solicitor and a doctor, the challenges and rewards of their professions, and what students can expect when studying and working in these fields. They also drew on experiences from a range of universities, including Brunel University London, the University of Oxford, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Leeds, and The University of Law, giving students a broader understanding of different higher education pathways.

The session provided our aspiring lawyers and medics with a clearer picture of their future career options and the steps needed to achieve their goals. We wish our Year 13 students every success as they continue their journey towards these exciting professions.
