Year 7 to Boulogne-sur-Mer, France 13th July

On Friday 13^th July 2018, Mr. Sokhal took 47 girls from Year 7 to Boulogne-sur-Mer, France for the day. Girls were involved in a variety of cultural activities, ranging from making croissants in a traditional French bakery (made all the more interesting with the owner having them repeat ingredients to the beat of a stick in French!), visiting the historic Old Town of Boulogne and seeing an authentic Fisherman’s house from the 19^th Century. Girls experienced a taste of French life first-hand, bought some souvenirs, had lots of fun, but, more importantly, practised their French! Well done Year 7; the MFL department looks forward to organising this trip again next year!
