Year 12 students were part of the Interfaith Bulb event
Posted on: 05/11/2019Year 12 students Aishah and Cristina were part of the Interfaith Bulb event recently, as part of their work with the Barnet Multi Faith Youth Forum.
This is what they had to say about the event:
It was a real privilege to have attended the Interfaith Bulb Planting Event, It truly conveyed the establishment and growth of our Interfaith Community in Barnet and how each and everyone of us strives to create a cohesive community which encourages peace. The event consisted of a range of speakers, such as The Mayor of Barnet, Caroline Stock, The Co-Chair of the Barnet Multi Faith Youth Forum, Trevor Alexander, and The interim Vice Chancellor of Middlesex University, James Kennedy. The Speakers collectively outlined, the importance of united peace and how our differences are our strengths. The Community then joined together to plant the snowdrop bulbs, symbolising our communal unity.
