Relaxed uniform in hot weather

In view of the hot weather, we have announced to students that blazers and ties are optional this week, and this will remain in place until the end of the summer term unless otherwise communicated.
Shirts should be tucked in, and top buttons may be undone.
Students are encouraged to dress to keep cool, in line with our uniform policy.
Sun hats may be worn on Friday 17 June, and we will keep this under review if further hot weather is forecast.
We always prioritise your child's safety as one of our core school values. In this hot weather we would ask for your support by ensuring all students bring a water bottle to school. They can refill their bottles during morning and lunch breaks either in the canteen or at the water fountains around the site.
