In Copthall, education is a powerful force that has nurtured me into an aspirational, confident leader. As Head Girl, I embrace this responsibility with the care and dedication Copthall upholds throughout its community. Invaluable opportunities and support from teachers have helped cultivate my journey into one of enthusiasm and growth. A continuity of praise and achievement enlivens our environment, encouraging students to be resilient and determined in their work. As Head Girl, I am determined to mentor students, supporting them in exploring their passions and developing as individuals. The Student Leadership Team aims to assist and inspire students with skills and activities and proactively engage in student voice to tackle concerns. Copthall has a strong emphasis on student-led projects such as fundraisers, competitions, cultural events and extracurriculars which connect students throughout the school. Such programmes enable students to lead and collaborate with their peers, manage finances and market these events to many schools and our local community. We are also able to promote a positive well-being and atmosphere by celebrating staff and students. Through these projects, I have represented Copthall at many platforms, in front of esteemed figures in society who have been impressed by the work of Copthall School. Unity and togetherness vibrantly uphold the Copthall Community. We constantly celebrate our diversity with respect for each other, strengthening ourselves as a family. Teachers cherish our diversity and help us form our own paths, enabling me to take ownership of my aspirations. Thank You, Alisha Jamil |
As one of the Head Girls at Copthall School, I am committed to representing all students, particularly those who may not excel in the traditional way, to ensure that all voices at Copthall are valued and heard. It is my goal to create a warm and friendly environment, not just amongst the student body, but by connecting with the community outside of these gates also. I intend to do this by organising social events that bring together students from our school with other groups in our local community. In creating this environment, it will allow space for growth and understanding throughout our community. For me, this is what creates the heart of the Copthall Way: happy students who show respect for others, and take responsibility for themselves and their school. I am extremely proud to represent an outstanding learning environment like Copthall. This school has encouraged me to exceed my potential, and to strive for success that I once imagined I would not be able to reach. Thank you, Isabelle Winslow |
