Careers
Lily W. 6th Form
Lily is a conscientious and diligent student both within and outside of the classroom as she embraces all of the school values and models them so well to all her peers. Not only is she one of the highest achievers at Copthall, she is humble and never parades her knowledge around but instead has a deep desire to use it to help the world (and the animals in it!). She has the highest expectations of herself but aims to use it to inspire and support others. She is respectful and supportive of all around her and has consistently engaged in schemes to support students lower in the school through mentoring and supporting the schools ECO club. It is very rare to find a student who is this academically advanced with an aura that is truly a delight to be around.

Hadier S. Year 7
As part of Anti-Bullying week all students at Copthall were giving the opportunity to create a student friendly Anti-Bullying Policy to be shared around school and in classrooms. We received some fantastic entries but were blown away by Hadier’s design. She included the definition of bullying and creatively showed the various types of bullying that young people can experience. We look forward to having Hadier's anti bullying policy displayed around the school in the new year! Well done.

Ebony F. R. Year 11
For Ebony’s spoken language assessment she choose to speak on Black Lives Matter which is something she feels passionate about. Ebony performed the speech to some of her peers and Miss Midgley was very impressed with her eloquence! Her teacher has also been really impressed by the change in attitude and engagement since returning back to school in September, Ebony has been working extremely hard and is producing high standard work.

Nafisa A. and Anita N. Year 12
Who participated in a web seminar regarding Young people in education on behalf of Ms Forde. They were outstanding and demonstrated the importance of young people’s well-being and what they feel the government should be doing for young students. They did themselves and the school proud and were perfect role models for other students. They also modelled our school values in support of Ms Forde on ITV which also shows their dedication to the school. Well done.
