The RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch 2021
Posted on: 19/01/2021On Saturday 30th January at 11.00am, we would like to invite everybody from our school community to take part in the RSPB's Big Garden Bird Watch 2021. By giving up an hour of your day to count the number and different types of birds in your garden, we can help the RSPB with their vital work in supporting and maintaining the diversity of birds within the United Kingdom. This is an amazing opportunity for you and your family to enjoy a nice hot chocolate and watch the wonderful variety of birds we have in the UK.
Everyone, both big and small, can take part in the Big Garden Bird Watch!
The school will be using the hashtag #BGBW21copthall
Please send us photos of the birds in your garden, you enjoying the BGBW and your homemade bird feeders.

Before the big day
You will need to make your garden, window sill, drive or balcony an amazing place for birds to feed. So, to make the birds want to dine in your garden why not make your own bird feeders (or cheat and buy one). Here are some video’s showing you how to make a bird feeder.
A trusting adult who can use scissors without cutting themselves is needed for this second feeder.
More information will to follow on what you will need to do on the big day
