GCSE Geography Fieldwork Trip

At the end of last half term, Year 11 Geography students travelled to Stratford to carry out research into the regeneration of the area since the 2012 Olympic games.  They had a number of tasks to complete which included looking at the East Village housing estate which originally housed Olympic athletes in 2012.  Students had questionnaires to ask the public in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and did a survey of businesses in the Westfield shopping centre.  The weather on the day was terrible but we were lucky that the worst rainfall was on the way back to school.  The data collected from the field trip will be used to help them prepare for their Paper 3 examination which focuses on Geographical applications.
