This year, students and staff had great fun celebrating Pi Day on Friday, 14th March.
Pi Day Celebration
During form time, KS3 students participated in fun Pi Day quizzes and practiced the Pi Day song. In Maths lessons, students took part in Pi Day-themed activities and competed in a competition to recall the most digits of Pi. Many students scored between 15 and 50 digits.
The highest score for Year 7 was 141 digits of Pi, and the highest score for Year 8 was 110 digits of Pi. This clearly shows the students' enthusiasm for learning, along with their motivation and the rewards that came with their efforts.
Staff members joined at lunchtime to celebrate, especially the office staff and non-teaching staff. They also enjoyed delicious Indian treats and Pi Day jokes.
All staff had great fun participating and competing in the Pi competition, where they tried to recall the most digits of Pi.
Pi Day Winners:
- Ms. Bloch is the winner for showing great enthusiasm and remembering 57 digits of Pi.
- Mr. Scrivano] also tried and recited Pi digits in Spanish, keeping everyone entertained throughout the Pi Day competition.
