Year 12 Visit Harrow School - Talk by Dr Mark King

On Tuesday 26^th February, a group of Year 12 students attended a talk at Harrow School by Dr Mark King, Christ College, Cambridge University. ‘Making a competitive application to Oxbridge and the Russell Group’ led the students through the steps to make their application stand out and Dr King shared a range of resources and advice that would support the students to develop their super-curricular activities and research above and beyond the curriculum. Fatima and Bahishta commented that “the amount of resources that were shared have been really useful”, Lauren also commented that “I want to learn more about podcasts and how I can use them in my research to choose the right subject at university”.  The Oxbridge Programme continues next week with a group of Year 10 and 12 students due to take part in a full day work shop by Urban Plan, focusing on the use of Lawyers and Architects in the development of urban projects, run by industry specialists.
